How to setup devices for transfer?

Android devices:

Perform initial device setup (for new devices) and enable USB debugging.

Connect the device to computer with a USB cable, accept USB debugging confirmation query, and enable File transfer (MTP) protocol.

Apple devices:

Switch supports automatic activation of target Apple devices. Apple Terms and Conditions will be approved during the device activation. Perform device setup after the transfer.

Optionally you can perform initial device setup manually. Before the transfer turn off Passcode and Find My app. Connect the device to computer with a USB cable and accept the trust confirmation query.
