How to create a Batch ID?

Define whether a Batch ID query is optional or mandatory:

1. On the Tools menu, select Settings.
2. In Report section, select Volume.
3. Select Always ask for batch ID, if you want the feature to be mandatory.
4. Select Save.

When a Batch ID is optional:

Enter a Batch ID and select Start batch link at the bottom of the user interface. Process the devices. After operations are completed, select Close batch link.

When a Batch ID is mandatory:

A Batch ID query is shown. Select either Start a new batch and enter a Batch ID or select No batch, and select OK. After operations are completed, select Close batch link.
