What is the difference between Switch and Lite Switch?

When using the Switch method you can select among all available content types for the connected device pair. Lite Switch is iOS-specific transfer method. iOS devices can be source, target, or both.

Characteristics and requirements of Lite Switch:

• Only contacts, photos, and videos are available for transfer (you can select content types).
• Lite Switch requires less resources for content transfer.
• iOS 10 or later for source and target device.
• Source and target iOS devices require mobile or wireless network connection: insert SIM card or establish Wi-Fi network connection.
