Can I erase a DEP enrolled iOS device?

MDM profile defines whether an iOS device can be erased. MDM allows several possible settings. If MDM profile is set to disable erasing, erasing can’t be performed.

If device is DEP enrolled and MDM profile allows erasing, erasing can proceed, however DEP enrollment will not be removed. Device must be un-enrolled from DEP by original organization that manages the device.

Detection of DEP devices allows recycler to identify DEP enrolled devices and recover full value of the device.
